Quick finds video. Have not had a lot of hunting time this year. Each outing has been few and far between. Found another first in this video. And included a few video clips of some finds I thought were neat from the last year. As well as a 14k gold earring I found laying in the grass easement outside my house.

Part 2 … This dig takes place outside the gates of a 1700′s Cemetery, on a piece of surrounding ground, which leads to the street. The Silver Bracelet found in this video appears very old, with a Hand Hammered style of manufacturing. The uneven edges are not precise and straight. as are today’s modern, machined bracelets. There’s a manufacturers Mark stamped on the inside along with a “Sterling” Mark. It was found about 4 inches under the ground, on a steep slope leading to the street, about 20 feet away and outside of the front gate. And because of it’s location on that steep slope, where only people visiting the cemetery would walk , I am concluding that it most likely fell from the hand of a female present during a burial, or visiting someone there. Although it was lost, I’m estimating well over a hundred years ago, the first thing I looked for when I got home was an inscription of some kind to help me identify who it belonged to. The Cemetery is very small and only has about 30 graves within it’s gates, and the people buried there are among the first to settle this very old town. The names on the tombstones I believe are still searchable in genealogical data bases today, so it is a pity there was no such identifiable inscription enabling me to return the Bracelet to the family from whence it came . When I found this small bracelet over the New Year I thought it was just junk. It wound up on a pile of unidentifiable relics that I found and left out in the yard.
